Who We Are
Helmet WoodWorks LLC began with the idea of making one of a kind pieces of furniture, signs, and cutting boards for friends and family.
Over time and through word of mouth we have grown into the family business you see today.
We are a small business located within Southwest North Dakota that enjoys making handcrafted items for you!
Terms and conditions
Thank you for your interest in Helmet Woodworks, LLC. We look forward to working with you on designing and building your custom wood piece. Please see below for important information regarding the ordering process:
1. All items are custom built based on your specifications. Items are crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations and imperfections are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two items are exactly alike.
2. Cost will depend on size, material used, and finish. Quotes will be provided once all details are agreed upon and in writing.
3. 65% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due for all projects and will constitute agreement to details provided on invoice as well as all Terms and Conditions. Once deposit has been received the build will be added to our “build list” and will be worked on in the order in which they are received.
4. Any project details not included in the invoice will be up to the discretion of the builder. However, most decisions will be communicated to the buyer before completion. Any changes made by the purchaser after acceptance of estimate are subject to additional charges based on the changes made.
5. Estimated completion dates will be provided when deposit has been received. However, no delivery dates are guaranteed - completion of projects is very dependent on weather, availability of materials, and other factors.
6. Shipping and delivery are not included in quotes - but can be added. Shipping cost will be 100% responsibility of the buyer. Delivery cost can be provided based on distance from workshop. Pick up at workshop is always free and will need to be arranged at time of project completion.
7. Helmet WoodWorks LLC, its partners, and employees are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages.
8. Completed items that are not picked up, or have delivery scheduled, within 30 days of completion will be considered abandoned and relisted to be sold.
9. Remainder of payment is due before pick-up or delivery.
10. Payment can be made through Venmo, PayPal, Card, or Cash. Checks are accepted on a case by case basis and Electronic Payment is subject to an 3% surcharge.
11. Photos and videos of projects in progress and completed may be shared on website and/or social media. Names, prices, and photos of customers will not be shown without consent of the buyer.
